1. Purpose of Privacy Policy
The Resolution Center is committed to maintaining the privacy of all individuals and companies that choose to use www.resolutioncenter.com (hereinafter referred as "the Website") to resolve disputes. The Resolution Center Privacy Policy takes effect as soon as a case is opened either by an administrator or any one of the disputing parties. By opening or responding to a case, or acting as a neutral you agree to adhere to this Privacy Policy. Any violation of the Privacy Policy may result in termination of the process and prohibit further involvement with the Resolution Center. As part of the process of The Resolution Center, we will ask you to provide your names, email addresses, statements, evidence, and in some cases, photos, to present your case. This privacy policy describes the information we collect and what may happen to that information.
2. Minors
Minors are not eligible to use The Resolution Center.
3. Information Resolution Center Will Collect and How it Will Be Used
Users filing a case or responding to a case will submit statements and photos regarding the dispute. A neutral Mediator or Arbitrator involved in the dispute will either facilitate the dispute to arrive at an agreement or provide a verdict. This neutral will engage with the parties and draft the agreement or verdict.
The Resolution Center will collect this information along with user ID's and dispute details. This information will be stored and secured internally and may be used to analyze the process in order to make improvements or changes. The Resolution Center will not publish on its website specific outcomes of Resolution Center decisions or any specific case details of the process. The Resolution Center will not publish, identify or make known the names or user ID's of any user of the Resolution Center.
The Resolution Center is committed to maintaining confidentiality within the Resolution Center process. The Resolution Center will not share or sell information and outcomes to any 3rd party entity. The Resolution Center will only disclose information if required to do so in a Legal Proceeding by appropriate Government agency and/ or a Court. For criminal or fraud investigations, The Resolution Center reserves the right to disclose information without providing you notice. Any changes to this policy will be communicated in some form on the Resolution Center website.
The Resolution Center will act in good faith to protect the privacy of its members who participate in the Resolution Center process. The Resolution Center makes no representation however that it will be able to guarantee the privacy of its members who participate in this process. Participants must agree to waive and hold harmless The Resolution Center for any legal or equitable claims that may result from a violation of the Resolution Center Privacy Policy.
4. The Process as it Relates to the Privacy Policy
The Resolution Center process starts with both parties describing the issues, engaging in an online conversation to resolve and come to an agreement. Parties write statements and upload evidence in the form of documents, photos, audio or video files. All statements and evidence uploaded to the Resolution Center are stored on the Resolution Center's secure servers.
Parties will be able to see all details relating to the case, including email addresses, statements and evidence. If parties can’t reach an agreement through initial discussion, a neutral resolution expert will join to help clarify issues and brainstorm options. If a mutual agreement cannot be reached, the resolution expert will carefully evaluate the facts submitted and render a fair decision. The neutral resolution expert will be able to see case details including email addresses, conversations and evidence. Private conversation with the mediator is possible on this platform. Private conversations will not be visible to the other party. The final agreement or decision will be made available to all who participated in the in the case.
After the case concludes, all statements and evidence will be available to be viewed by the parties and neutral. The Resolution Center may save the statements, evidence and agreement for internal use.
5. Control of Your Password
Disclosure of your password to any third party is a violation of the user agreement. Therefore, the privacy policy is voided if any third party has gained control of your password. The Resolution Center is not liable for the release of any information in these cases. If your password has been compromised, you should immediately change your password.
6. Third Party Collectors of Information
This privacy policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. The Resolution Center makes no guarantees or excepts any liability for what users choose to do with the information and content viewable within the Resolution Center. Any information you provide to a third party outside of the Resolution Center is subject to the confidentiality customs and policies of that third party.
7. Security
The Resolution Center has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of any information under our control. However, “perfect security” does not exist on the internet.
8. Links to Other Websites
Links to other websites may be submitted by users in their statements. Please note that when you go to one of these sites our privacy policy does not extend to these sites.
9. Customer Service
Based upon personally identifiable information you provide us through your user ID, we will send email updates regarding your involvement with the Resolution Center.
